From September 20through September 30 (1998),my son Willey Elliott ,mydaughter Leslie Elliott and I had the privilegeof visiting Mali. Our tour was arranged by Joe Keïta of born free Safaris and Tours in North Hollywood,Californa U.S.A . Of all the wonderful experiences we had on this vacation, we all feel that the very bestwas to have Mamadou Diarra "JARA" as our guide. He is a person of exemplary character and inteligence. We felt entirely comfortable everywhere in the country and I know this because we were completly confident in Jara’s abilibilities.Also , we were most pleased and impressed by the driving abilities of Buba our driver, n dit was a pleasure togetto know him also. In January 1998, Mamadou Diarra acted as guide for my son an me during our visit to Mali and Burkina Faso. He accompanied us from Ivory Coast’s northern border with Burkina Faso, through Burkina and Mali. Jara provided us with a wonderful service. He was extremely knowledgable about West Africa. Apart from showing us places of interest, he was able to explaino us the culture and traditions of the various ethnic groups. He took us to visit some marvellous villages. I have no hesitation in recommending Mamadou as a guide. He is conscientious, reliable and totally honest. Nothing was too much trouble duringthe time we spend with him.
